Trying their hand at the potter’s wheel is on the bucket list for many people, and thanks to a Plymouth studio, they will soon be able to do so.

The holiday season is right around the corner, and Central PARC Art Studios will be celebrating the special time of year with a workshop that will give attendees time using a potter’s wheel. Potentially fun as a date night or activity with friends, tickets are $45 each.

All supplies needed to take on this project will be given to the learners, but they are advised to wear old clothing they do not mind getting dirty. Masks are mandatory, and at the end of the session, anyone who has made a creation they are especially proud of will be able to have it cleaned, bisqued (meaning heated in a kiln without glaze), and then glaze fired. The fee for this is $10, and the items will be ready for pick up a few weeks after the date of the workshop.

Offering a class like this gives people a way to find out if they enjoy making pottery. A flyer printing company will have lots of ideas for ways to promote this sort of activity.

The studio is accepting bookings for space in this event, which will be held on December 11. It is located at 650 Church St.
