Plymouth welcomes return of long-running ice event
Plymouth will soon be making the most of the winter deep freeze when it welcomes the world for its 43rd annual Ice Festival.
The city will be celebrating the season with three days of frosty fun. Support for the occasion has been provided by Michigan First Credit Union, and it will showcase the community's downtown and all it has to offer.
The event will feature an assortment of sculptures along the sidewalks that have been crafted by ice artists, and they will be open to the public 24 hours a day. A special Preview Party for families with a special needs member has been planned, and everyone can touch the ice blocks, sip on a hot beverage, shop at the pop-up arts and crafts market, and try the games. Live entertainment has been scheduled, and Ice Festival bingo, a warming center, and other fun are all on the agenda.
Along with the rest of the excitement, the organizers have brought back the popular tubing run and petting zoo. A poster printing company can prepare a variety of materials that help to build public anticipation for an event.
The 2025 installment of the Plymouth Ice Festival will run from Friday, January 31 to Sunda, February 2 in its downtown core. The city’s website provides more information, and the sculptures will remain in place for as long as the weather permits.
