Plymouth releases farmers market schedule

Plymouth wants to make it easy for residents to access freshly grown produce, with a farmers market about to spring into action for another year.

The Plymouth Community Farmers Market will once again be serving up fresh produce, meat, and other agricultural goods. It will be on offer along Penniman Avenue and in Kellogg Park, and many types of items will be available for purchase.

Shoppers will be able to relax while they stroll along, stopping to browse through the various stalls, and items ranging from produce to flowers, baked goods, herbs, cheese, coffee, fish, and a variety of crafts will all be in the mix.

Markets will be held almost every Saturday from mid-May until late October, and they will each kick off at 8:00 am. Marketgoers are asked to note that the function will not take place on July 13 and September 7 due to scheduling conflicts.

Many communities provide space for farmers markets and similar types of gatherings. These may be valuable opportunities for local farms and other small establishments, and business card printing for a company looking for a quick way to share contact details can be sourced from an area printer.

Plymouth’s schedule of pop-up farmers markets will begin on Saturday, May 11. The final one on the list has been scheduled for the morning of Saturday, October 26.
