A well-loved Plymouth activity that has welcomed “gearheads” for more than 20 years is set to make its return, and it will have lots to offer fans of vintage vehicles.
The organizers of the Bumpers, Bikes and Bands show will combine a car and motorcycle event with live entertainment. The event never fails to draw a large crowd, and this year's lineup includes three bands, as well as food trucks and other fun. DJ Del Villarreal will be the emcee.
The day will open in the early morning when the vendors and cars load in and get set up before the gates open for the day. The entertainment will kick off in the mid-morning, and the bands will take to the stage starting at 11:15 am. The fun will continue on until the function wraps up in the afternoon, and awards will be presented to the top entries.
One of the judging categories back for this year is the "Throttle Gals,” which is reserved for women-owned vehicles. They will receive a logo to display on their windshield so the judges will include them in their set category. Printed materials for a special occasion can be prepared by Stationery printers.
