Plymouth parade to celebrate Independence Day

The Fourth of July is fast approaching, and Plymouth has scheduled an event that will showcase its American pride.

The city will be welcoming the return of its Fourth of July parade. It will be hosted by the Kiwanis Club of Colonial Plymouth, and will take place in the morning.

The procession, which will follow Main Street, will give pride of place to war veterans, who will be driven in vehicles. They will be joined by an assortment of floats, flags, marching bands, pom-pom and cheer teams, and also the Plymouth Fife and Drum Corps. At least 1,500 participants will be involved. It is anticipated that thousands of spectators will be on hand, which will give the community a fun way to come together. The contact person for the activity is Mary Nyhus, who can be reached at (734)453-1540.

Communities all across the USA will be celebrating Independence Day, each in their own way. A banner printing company can supply Signs, flags, Banners, and other items that may help to make a function feel even more festive, and they can accommodate almost any budget.

The annual Good Morning USA 4th of July Parade will be hitting Main Street at 9:00 am and it will wind up at 11:00 am, on July 4 itself. Its website can be consulted for further details.
