Another harvest season will soon be here, and Plymouth businesses and not for profits have been offered the opportunity to be part of a community activity that will celebrate the season.
The city’s Chamber of Commerce is organizing another installment of its Scarecrows in Kellogg Park. This popular activity will see 100 of these comical characters on display, and local companies and groups can add their name to the list of establishments that support the program.
Those that are interested can submit their application, and the final date to do so will be August 29th. The spots will be assigned through lottery style draw, and the winners will be able to decorate their entry using their own creative flair. The booking fee will be $80.00 for businesses and $70.00 for charitable groups. A pole and straw bale will be in place so they can set up their unique scarecrow, and guidelines have been created for the participants to follow.
A special event may require specialized printing services, and professional printers will be happy to help. They can supply everything from a Logo Design to custom designed Banners, Posters and other marketing materials.
The 2024 Scarecrows in Kellogg Park will kick off on September 27th. It will run until November 2nd and applications can be submitted to sheri@plymouthmich.org, and can also be faxed to 734-404-6026 or dropped off at the Chamber offices.
