The dog days of summer are well suited to a day out on the links, and a Plymouth fundraising classic will offer local golfers this experience.
The registration system for the 42nd annual Kiwanis Club of Colonial Plymouth Charity Golf Classic is open for those who would like to play through, and both single and foursome registration options have been made available. The funds raised will support various community service projects, and everyone is welcome.
The play will follow a four-person scramble format, and those who would like to put their talents to the test can do so in one of the skill testing contests. Raffle and even split draws are also on the agenda, and the day will open with a continental breakfast. Access to the putting green driving range and two hospitality tents are included along with dinner, premium drink carts and a lunch of hot dogs and ice cream at the turn.
To thank everyone for their support, each of the golfers will go home with a selection of swag. Sponsors of an event can choose to lend a hand by donating gifts in kind, including branded Promotional Products.
This annual friendly competition will tee off on August 7th at Golden Fox in Plymouth. At the time this was written, registrations were being accepted. The Golden Ticket add-on offers access to all the skill testing contests.
