Plymouth celebration offers gourd time
The 14th annual Plymouth Pumpkin Palooza is set to bring fun to the city, and promises to offer a "gourd" time to all those who attend.
This event, which will be on offer in the community’s downtown, will give all ages a chance to enjoy Halloween themed fun. It will be set up in Kellogg Park as well as portions of West Ann Arbor Trail, and other streets may be closed off too.
The downtown businesses that have signed on to be part of the fun will be handing out treats to the crowd, and entertainment is in the works as well. A costume contest has been planned, and everyone can enjoy viewing the creativity that will be on display in the Scarecrows in the Park initiative.
To help make it easier for local businesses to get involved on the day, the Plymouth Chamber of Commerce has put together a sponsorship package, and these will be distributed upon request. The options include the signature Platinum sponsor level, and there are others to choose from as well. Organizers often choose to offer a tip of the hat to its event supporters by including their branding on the marketing materials prepared by area poster printing companies.
Plymouth’s Pumpkin Palooza will bring festive fun to the city on October 19, starting at 11:30 am. More details for those who are interested can be found online.
