Most car shows feature quality vehicles that are lovingly cared for, but during a Plymouth event, the misfits, oddballs and rust buckets will be invited to have their day in the sun.
These examples of automotive technology gone wrong will be driven, dragged, pushed or even towed to the grounds of the Concours d’Lemons Michigan 2020 competition. It will be a tongue-in-cheek alternative to the typical vehicle show and shine, and this fun-filled experience is being offered thanks to support from Hagerty Insurance.
The judging of these “worst of the worst” will be just as much fun as the show itself, and the public who attends the festivities can expect lots of zany excitement. The event listen notes that there may even be a little bit of “bribing” of the judges and other silliness, and the winners will walk away with a trophy just as awful as the vehicles on display.
It is intended for those who do not take themselves or their vehicles too seriously, and a company that designs and prepares Corporate Gifts will be able to prepare prizes and swag for the participants in this sort of offbeat competition.
This parade of local lemons will be taking over a corner of the golf course at The Inn at St. John’s on July 25. Free to register a car or other vehicle, everyone is welcome to enjoy the fun.
