The Westland Fire Department maintains a charity fund for local firefighters and their families, and it is counting on the support of area residents to keep its coffers full at its upcoming annual event.
The year marks the 5th annual Westland Fireman’s Ball, and it will be an evening filled with fun. A possible date night or girls’ night out idea for Plymouth residents, some of the lucky guests will be going home with one of the prizes that will be up for grabs during the event.
Upon arrival at the function, the guests will be offered a drink while they mingle and catch up with old friends. After this, dinner will be served, and once the music starts, couples can head to the dance floor. An open bar will be set up for the night, and the food served is described as “premium.”
The Westland Fire Department offers the community fire protection and other services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Organizing an event like this can help to raise money and also builds a stronger community.
