An organization that helps families of the fallen and wounded secure their post-secondary educational goals has a fundraiser in the works for this fall, and while the participants will be helping these families, they can count on having fun at the same time.
Those who register for the fourth annual Plymouth Fields of Honor Motor City Classic will be treated to a full day of activities, and this includes playing 18 holes of golf at the Fox Hills Golf and Banquet Center. Both lunch and dinner are included in the ticket price for this opportunity for golfers to get in some extra time out on the green.
As well as the 18 holes, each registrant will have a chance to win one of a selection of Corporate Gifts and other prizes during the day. There will also be speaker presentations and an opportunity to learn how their support will help to provide scholarships for families of military members who were wounded or never made it home.
The planners of this annual fundraiser are hoping for lots of community support, and anyone who would like to find out more has been asked to contact motorcity@foldsofhonor.org. Its Folds of Honor Motor City Classic is scheduled to take place on September 19, and the venue for the function will be located at 8768 North Territorial Road in Plymouth.
