Aspiring hockey players in Farmington Hills have a camp coming up, just for them.
Future Pro USA, which runs full summer camps for young athletes, has announced its Christmas Camp. The venture is a two-day, intense version of its traditional camp that will feature video analysis, dryland training, and three hours of time on the ice every day.
There are two levels of training, regular/advanced, and elite. The schedule for the regular/advanced students calls from them to arrive at 8:30 am, and be picked up at 1:30 pm. During their days, they will be on the ice from 9:00 am until 10:30 am, and again from 12:00 pm until 1:30 pm. They will work on dryland training, or watch a video, during the morning before taking a break for lunch.
The schedule for the elite group meshes with the less advanced students. They will have the ice from 10:30 am until 12:00 pm, and again from 1:30 pm until 3:00 pm, then work dryland exercises or watch videos from 12:00 pm until 12:45 pm, with their lunch break scheduled at 12:45. Students in both groups are asked to bring their own lunches.
Jeff Lerg, who is the president of Future Pro USA, will run the camp, which is scheduled for December 21 and 22, 2020 at Suburban Ice Farmington Hills. Flyer printing can be used to provide materials for classes like this.
