The Farmington Hills Figure Skating Club, in conjunction with the Farmington Hills Ice Arena, will be presenting the 23rd Annual Ice Show soon. The event is set for the Farmington Hills Ice Arena on Eight Mile Road.
The theme of the show this year is ‘Around the World on Ice’, which will feature students in the Learn-to-Skate program, as well as members of the Skating Club, performing to music. Organizers of events like this can use banner printing to decorate the facility.
People of all skill levels and ages can find a skating program to fit their needs at the Farmington Hills Ice Arena. The arena is a participant in the ‘Learn to Skate U.S.A.’ program, which is supported by such associations as U.S. Figure Skating, U.S. Speedskating, and U.S.A. Hockey. The program teaches basic skating skills, and helps young people gain confidence in themselves. It is open all year, as are figure skating, hockey, and times for open skating.
There are two shows, one this Friday, May 10th at 7:00 pm, and the second on Saturday, May 11th at 4:00 pm. Tickets are $9 for people 19 years of age and older, and $7 for seniors 60 years of age and older, and for students ages six to eighteen. Children under five are free. Doors will open one hour before the show starts.
