Parent-child events to happen in Farmington Hills

The Farmington Hill Special Services (Parks & Rec) Department will present a series of parent and child events in February and March. These will take place at two different locations in Farmington Hills and each will have a few chances to attend.

Daddy-daughter dances will be first. This dance is not just limited to dads, as any male relative – such as dads, grandpas, and uncles – can bring a young female relative to the dance. There will be snacks and other refreshments provided at the dance and families can purchase professional photos that will be taken at the event.

A mother-daughter princess party will happen in March. Mothers and daughters are encouraged to dress as their favorite princesses and take part in this event. It will include a princess craft that the families can take home, a photo opportunity with a princess, and a dance party. The mother and daughter can then indulge in some tea and cookies.

Registration is required for all the events. It is recommended that prospective attendees register as early as possible. The daddy-daughter dances will take place on February 10 and 11, from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm at 29995 W 12 Mile Road. The mother daughter tea party will take place on March 18 and 19 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at 24705 Farmington Rd. Creators of events such as the mother-daughter tea party may benefit from using Print shops to publicize some activities.
