Martial arts festival comes to Farmington Hills

The Capoeira Festival, hosted by The Michigan Center for Capoeira, will be heading into its 13th year.

The Michigan Center for Capoeira offers a range of classes, which include the Brazilian martial art of capoeira, along with Brazilian jiujitsu, acrobatics, and a variety of fitness classes for all ages and levels.

One the second day, participants can pick up their shirts and be a spectator at the Batizado e Troca de Cordao Ceremony. On the third day, in addition to workshops, The Michigan Center for Capoeira will host a large party that will go well into the early morning hours for all family and friends to enjoy.
