Farmington Hills will be celebrating its roots with a summer festival.
The Founder’s Festival is an annual, traditional event that has strong ties to the history of this community. It offers numerous types of activities which are suitable for individuals from diverse age brackets.
The festival will start with a big parade. The parade will feature floats, marching bands, that march, and other community groups as well as stalls operated by businesses from the area. The parade is one of the main attractions for families who come to enjoy its vibrant and imaginative displays on street sides.
Music is played live during the festival. There are many stages presenting a mix of styles from local bands to popular artists. Lineups can be shared with flyer printing.
A space for arts and crafts will be there to present items made by local artists. This market provides special products like jewelry, paintings, sculptures, and textiles. It gives visitors the chance to buy one-of-a-kind items while they also help support nearby craftsmen.
A 5K color run as part of the festival. The attendees will follow a path and at different points they get hit with colors, making it lively and fun for everyone taking part in this event.
Lots of children's activities exist, including carnival rides, games, face painting, and other interactive exhibits.
The Farmington Founders Festival is planned to occur in Farmington Hills along Grand River Avenue from July 18-20 starting at 10 pm.
