Farmington Hills to celebrate autumns arrival

Farmington Hills has a special day in store for local families, filled with activities that have come to be associated with fall fun.

The community's Heritage Park will be the location for a community celebration, and the planners have built a schedule that offers fun for all ages. It will be free to attend the festivities, although there may be a nominal fee charged for some of the activities.

The guests at the function can take a seat around Farmington HIlls’ largest campfire, and both apples and pumpkins can be purchased on site. Pumpkin painting stations will be set up and hayrides will be on offer as well. The young and the young at heart will be invited to enjoy the weenie and marshmallow roasts, and hikes, visit to the Nature Center, and tours of a real working fire engine will round out the occasion.

Communities often choose to take full advantage of the autumn weather by hosting outdoor events. A banner printing company can prepare materials that will be suitable to use during any function that will be held outdoors, as well as ones that may be used several times for subsequent celebrations.

The Farmington Hills Hay Day festival will be held on October 4. It will be open to the public from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
