Farmington Hills Swing Band to perform in December

The 18-piece Farmington Swing Band will perform in December at the Hawk Theater. They will perform a selection of jazz holiday music arrangements.

The Farmington Swing Band is a division of the Farmington Concert Band. The latter is a wind ensemble made of local performers and operated by a team of staff and a volunteer board of directors. It was founded in 1966 and it seeks to give quality musical performances and encourage music education.

The current music director is Damien Crutcher, a graduate of Michigan State University. He is also currently involved in several programs dedicated to working with young musicians in Detroit.

The performance will take place in the Hawk Theatre within the Hawk Community Center. This venue holds 766 guests and has a state-of-the-art and fully upgraded sound and light system. It is the perfect place for patrons from all walks of life to experience a wide variety of art and cultural events. The theater has hosted camps, concerts, classes, dance performances, theater performances, and so much more.

The concert will take place on Tuesday, December 8, from 7:30 to 9:00 pm at 29995 W 12 Mile Road, which is the address of the Hawk Community Center. Adults aged 21 and older can order wine and beer. Venues such as the Hawk Community Center may benefit from using printing services to help create playbooks for certain events.
