Waldorf to host holiday craft fair for good cause

The holidays are soon to be upon Waldorf, and one event that has attracted a significant amount of attention is a craft fair being held in December.

The 2025 Holiday Craft Fair will provide plenty of opportunities to those who wish to purchase gifts, to browse through countless vendor stalls, or simply to connect with the local community. This year's event is being hosted by the Humane Society of Charles County. One of the main intentions is to generate funds that can then be used to protect animals from abuse and neglect. Those who plan to attend are encouraged to donate at least $1, or a single can of pet food.

Additional donations from shoppers will provide specific benefits. For example, a gift of $25 can be used to install a pet microchip. Contributions of $125 will ensure that a pet receives all necessary vaccinations.

Organizers of charitable events will leverage a wide range of advertising techniques. Some effective strategies include banner printing, handing out flyers, and placing posters in public locations.

The 2025 Waldorf Holiday Craft Fair is taking place on Sunday, December 7 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. All activities are being hosted by Thomas Stone High School located at 3785 Leonardtown Road. Although tickets are not required, those who wish to make donations in advance can visit the official website of the Charles County Humane Society.
