Tattoo artists from all walks of life will soon be returning to Waldorf in anticipation of an annual festival that showcases their talents.
This event has been known to attract a wide array of artisans in the past, and plenty of personalities have already confirmed they will be attending.
The 2026 Cruel Summer Tattoo Festival is taking place across a three-day period. The main intention is to offer tattoo artists a venue to speak with guests, network with one another, and advertise what it is that they have to offer. A range of unique work will be on display, and there are also plenty of opportunities to obtain an onsite tattoo.
Some artists who will be attending this year's gathering are Alexis the Sinner, Tate Woodruff, Brandon Hamilton, and RJ Large. These are in addition to vendors such as Sullen Art Collective, Short Studios Boudoir, and Allison Arcement.
Festivals associated with niche themes will frequently leverage cost-effective marketing strategies capable of resonating with the intended demographic. Examples may include professional brochure printing, placing Flyers in local tattoo shops, and advertising on community-oriented radio stations.
The 2026 Cruel Summer Tattoo Festival is taking place from Friday, July 31 to Sunday, August 2. All events will be hosted within the Waldorf Jaycees Center located at 3090 Crain Highway. There is no charge to attend, and vendors must apply for a spot in advance.
