What's Happening in Waldorf, MD…

Waldorf to host concerts with headline musicians

Waldorf is no stranger to live music concerts, and this summer has represented another example of what residents have been able to enjoy. Yet another festival is scheduled for August, and details have already begun to emerge.

The Mixtape Concert Series first debuted in July, and talented artists will be returning to the stage in August. This event is being sponsored by the Charles County Department of Recreation, Parks, and Tourism. Previous headliners included names such as The Eli Young Band, and hip-hop artist Blanco Brown.

The August iteration will feature the Plain White T's; a group that has enjoyed international recognition since their first album "Come on Over" was released in 2002.

Large-scale events such as this will use multiple techniques to promote what attendees can expect. Partnering with local stationery printers, banner advertisements, and online social media pages are all effective methods.

The next leg of the 2025 Mixtape Concert Series will take place on Saturday, August 9th, and it is being held at Regency Furniture Stadium (11765 St. Linus Drive, Waldorf 20602). General admission tickets are priced at $45 dollars, while upgrades may be possible at an additional cost.

Details can be found by visiting the Charles County Chamber of Commerce Website. Note that VIP tickets, such as skybox seats, will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
