Waldorf fundraiser auction to support disabled people

The Spring Dell Center will be organizing an auction in November at the Greater Waldorf Jaycees.

The Auction Under the Big Top is an event where the community can support people living with disabilities. Attendees can participate in a live or silent auction. There will be Golden Tickets available for $50 that will give guests a chance to win one auction item of their choice. Many sponsorship packages will be sold for the circus-themed event; these range from $500 to $10,000. Supporters can receive benefits like being promoted by the auctioneer throughout the program and recognition on the event’s press releases.

The Spring Dell Center is an organization helping those with disabilities achieve higher levels of independence through its programs. Many services are offered through the center, such as vocational services, transportation services, and employment programs. The group also teaches business development skills and independent living skills. Those 21 and older can receive art, music, and physical therapy from the organization.

The auction will take place on Friday, November 17th. General admission to the Spring Dell Center’s fundraiser will cost $60 per person. Those who purchase Golden Tickets for the auction must be present at the event to win their items. Groups hosting similar auctions to this may send Corporate Gifts to the companies that purchase sponsorship packages.
