Waldorf to debut benefit brunch

Kandice Long from All Children Count will be organizing a new benefit brunch event in Waldorf at 3070 Festival Way.

The 1st Annual Benefit Brunch is a charity event where people can show their support for Ethiopian children. There will be multiple ticket tiers for the program that offer different perks. The $125 Gold Donor tier includes reserved seating, a gift from Ethiopia, and a framed picture. A silent auction will be held that sells authentic Ethiopian items. Events for charitable causes like this may use flyer printing to increase the program’s visibility.

All Children Count is an organization founded by Dr. LaTesa Hughes, a Laboratory Animal Medicine Veterinarian who worked at the National Institutes of Health. She is also a certified English teacher and studied at Tuskegee University. Kandice Long is the vice president of the organization and the owner of Kandake Naturals. She has been a teacher for 10 years and has connected with children in over 10 countries. The group provides education to Ethiopian children. People can help All Children Count by donating online or using Amazon Smile.

The benefit brunch will debut on Saturday, December 10 and will last from 10:00 am to noon. General admission for the charity event costs $75 per person. Ticket sales for general admission will close on December 6, and sales for higher-tiered tickets end on December 5.
