Tympanic Productions is returning to Waldorf in September to host a second comedy show that benefits a local cheerleading gym.
Let's Laugh Waldorf Vol. 2 is an event where people can enjoy performances from live comedians while supporting a youth program in their community. The event is the sequel to a show held in July and will feature Brandon Glover as the headlining act. Glover was born in St. Louis, Missouri and started doing comedy shows when he was 18. He was featured on B.E.T's Comic View One Mic Stand.
The money from the show will benefit the Dynasty Gym Cheerleading Team & Gymnastics Program. The program is offered by Dynasty Maryland, a gym in Waldorf that is owned by Karla King, an experienced cheerleading coach who has worked with high schools. Her teams have won several All-Star State, National, and U.S. Final Championships. King teamed up with DaQuan Johnson-Thompson, the CEO of Dynasty Spirit Elite, to create the group Dynasty Spirit Elite Maryland.
The comedy show will be held on Saturday, September 14th from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm. The doors to the act will be open from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm. General admission to the performance is $33.85 per person. People who pay $49.87 for their tickets will receive provisions and no-wait entry to the venue. Businesses that host similar comedic performances to this may use flyer printing to advertise their shows.
