Realtor's council organizes themed vendor expo in Waldorf

The Women's Council of Realtors Southern Maryland Network will hold an event in Waldorf at the Hilton Garden Inn.

The Galentines Small Business Vendor Expo is an experience where female professionals can connect with their peers in an alternate take on a Valentine's Day celebration. Those who attend the event will have multiple networking opportunities with experts in and outside the real estate industry. Guests may win door prizes at the convention, and the organizers will provide people with complimentary headshots. Attendees are recommended to pack their Business Cards for the experience.

The Women's Council of Realtors Southern Maryland Network is a branch of the Women's Council of Realtors that is led by Lisa Nikol Pinder, Emily Watts, and Lashanda Pullam. The group began at the Annual Convention in Milwaukee in 1938. Women who become part of the council get benefits such as leadership training sessions, access to a referral network, and product discounts. The organization hosts events in several states, like Illinois and California.

The vendor expo will be on Thursday, February 15 from 11:00am to 2:00pm. There is no cost to register for the small business convention. Businesses that want to become a sponsor for the council can pay between $5,000 and $25,000 for perks such as banner recognition and a shoutout in the organization’s virtual newsletter.
