Foundation to offer protective course in Waldorf

The Your Infinite Paths Foundation will be holding a lesson in Waldorf that educates people about the dangers of human trafficking.

Protecting Our Communities - Human Trafficking Awareness is a program for teens and parents where attendees can learn how to recognize human trafficking and methods they can use to prevent it from occurring. The topics discussed at the meeting will include trauma-informed services and what life is like for victims after they are rescued. The event will also have guest speakers such as Dr. Astril Webb and Kathryn Young.

The Your Infinite Paths Foundation is an organization that seeks to provide community-based services to people living in Charles, Prince George's, Montgomery, Alexandria, and Fairfax Counties. The group offers learning opportunities to help participants become self-sufficient. Those interested in assisting the foundation's efforts can donate items like body lotion, individual face tissue packets, and travel first aid kits. People may also help the organization by sponsoring nomad Bags for $30 or journey bags for $20.

The program on human trafficking awareness will be held on Sunday, January 15 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Registration for the presentation will open to people on December 26. General admission to the discussion is free for all guests. Charitable foundations that offer important talks such as this may share their events with others by using flyer printing.
