The Figure Skating Club of Southern Maryland (FSCSM) will hold an ice skating camp for children in Waldorf.
The Winter Break Fun Camp is a program where kids can have fun skating during their winter holidays. The sessions include ice skating, craft making, movies, and games. The organizers will provide snacks to all campers, though the children are expected to bring their own lunches to each camp day. Campers are also asked to bring jackets and gloves to help them keep warm while skating. Kids can take part in full-day or half-day sessions.
The FSCSM is a nonprofit organization that aims to promote the growth of figure skating by creating skating programs for all ages. The group has several values, such as good sportsmanship, friendly competition, and high-quality instruction. The home rink for the organization is the Capital Clubhouse Recreation Center in Waldorf. The current president of the FSCSM is Sarah Eaton, and the group’s vice president is Rashanikka Hayley Fowler.
The winter skating camp will be held from December 26th to December 29th. The cost of the full-day camp experience is $265 per child, and the half-day sessions will cost $140.
