Old Baltimore restaurant is replaced

The Brass Elephant in Baltimore is in the process of being succeeded by another restaurant that is due to open at the same location in the fall.

Mr. Steven Rivelis and his wife purchased the old property back in January. When it opens, the couple may choose to use stationery printers in Stevensville to help spread the word about the new business. Mr. Rivelis has told the Baltimore Business Journal:

“Linda and I don’t have the ability to do anything easy. We have to do it right.”

The pair has reportedly spent around $600,000 on acquiring the structure. They are the owners of Campaigning Consulting Inc., and Mr. Rivelis and his wife have no previous shared experience of owning a restaurant. Nonetheless, they have got on with overseeing extensive waste removal prior to starting the refurbishment process.

Over 50 dump trucks laden with trash have helped to clear the way for renovations. The basement has already been given a concrete floor.

The project will continue with the addition of more bathrooms. A fresh heating system will also be added to the mix. The décor of the place is set to be transformed over the summer months.

Mr. Rivelis got married in the old Brass Elephant, but this does not mean he is attached to the old menu. He has revealed that he wishes to showcase a wide range of different foods in the new restaurant.
