Stevensville to host seafood cooking seminar
Thanks to the proximity of Kent Island to the sea, seafood has always been one of the staple delicacies of Stevensville. Residents will soon be able to obtain an up-close-and-personal look at a selection of professionally prepared dishes.
An event known as the Chef's Table is planned for August. This seminar is intended to display a menu comprised of bespoke seafood platters. All materials have been sourced locally, and they will be provided by Stevensville vendors.
The Chef's Table "Sea to Table" seminar will likewise display how each meal is prepared by a seasoned chef. Here is a brief breakdown of the main menu:
- First course: Shrimp gazpacho
- Second course: Soft-shell crab salad
- Third course: Whole Maine lobster
- Dessert: Peach shortcake
