Kent Island Resort is preparing to host an evening of community-oriented games as a way to usher in the holiday season. This has become an annual tradition, and many residents are expected to attend.
Mahjong & Mistletoe: A Holiday Mix and Match Free Play offers a casual night of fun for friends and family. As the title already suggests, this year's theme will be centered around the traditional Chinese game of Mahjong.
Those who purchase tickets in advance will also be able to enjoy several on-site amenities. These include a complimentary cocktail or non-alcoholic beverage, and various snacks. All items required to play Mahjong are also provided. This is an open-play event, and no experience is required, with instructors will still be available to those who may have questions throughout the evening.
Short-term events such as this will use targeted marketing techniques to save money, and to promote what visitors can expect. Banner printing and handing out Brochures are two examples.
The event is being held on Thursday, December 4 from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Those who wish to attend should arrive to The Garden House located at 500 Kent Manor Drive slightly in advance.
