Louisville gets a Newks Eatery
The fast yet casual dining establishment, Newk’s Eatery is bringing its reputation for made when ordered meals utilizing fresh ingredients here to Louisville.
The Eatery’s timeline according to its CEO Frank Paci, is to hopefully have its first location opening in Louisville in the next 18 month with up to three opening here withing five years. The menu which relies heavily on Italian and southern dishes is best known for offering first-rate proteins.
Paci was quoted by The Courier Journal as saying:
“We don’t have fryers, and we don’t have microwaves in the restaurants. Everything is fresh. Everything is being made to order. That’s always been one of our hallmarks. Our menu is similar to the next level of casual dining, except it's faster than you’d get in the casual dining experience."
Newk’s offers a variety of sandwiches, soups, salads and pizzas as well as entrées such as salmon and shrimp which are not generally found on a fast-casual menu.

Newk’s Eatery was launched in 2004 in Oxford, Mississippi and now operates in 13 states with a total of over 100 locations. The company anticipates it will do well in the Louisville region based on how competitors such as McAlister’s Deli and Panera Bread have performed.
According to Paci Newk’s is actively recruiting a franchisee for over 15 future locations in the Bluegrass State.
