Louisville childrens hospital announced best in Kentucky
A recently released survey by U.S. News & World Report named Norton Children’s Hospital the best hospital of its kind in Kentucky.
In addition to being ranked best in the Bluegrass state, Norton also received a national ranking in eight specialties: cancer, behavioral health, diabetes and endocrinology, orthopedics, cardiology and heart surgery, pulmonology, urology, and neurology and neurosurgery.
To create its ratings, U.S. News looked at over 100 children’s hospitals, collecting and analyzing data from them in addition to surveying thousands of specialists in pediatric care.
Those receiving the designation of being the “best” excelled in areas such as established best practices, favorable clinical outcomes, and the quality and level of hospital resources directly affecting patients.
Printing services can provide hospitals with the numerous printed materials they require to operate on a daily basis, from legal forms to aftercare instructions and brochures.
Norton Healthcare president and CEO Russell Cox expressed his feelings on the U.S. News ratings, saying:
Along with being rated the best in Kentucky, Norton Children’s Hospital has also been ranked the Midwest’s 11th-best children’s hospital by U.S. News & World Report. The top spot in the Midwest region went to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital in Ohio.
