The Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce has announced that they will be hosting an event geared towards helping local businesses hire and retain employees.
The event is specifically part of the Chamber's Grow NKY Talent Strategies series, which seeks to help businesses manage today's difficult labor market by giving them the tools they need to hire and retain top-notch talent.
This event will specifically discuss immigration and the nearly one million Americans who became citizens in the past year. Attendees will hear from expert panelists who will discuss specific immigration patterns, who is now living in Northern Kentucky, and how local businesses can identify these pools of talent and recruit individuals to work from them.
Two of the panel members are employees of Northern Kentucky University, which gives them the experience and expertise necessary to discuss immigration patterns in Kentucky. The third panelist works for Cincinnati Compass.
The event itself is being held on Wednesday, May 3, from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at 300 Buttermilk Pike, Suite 330 in Fort Mitchell, just a short journey from Erlanger. Doors open at 8:00 AM for networking, so event attendees are encouraged to bring their Business Cards and come prepared to network with other Chamber members. The program itself will then run until 10:00 AM and will leave plenty of time for attendees to ask questions.
Tickets are free for Chamber members and $25 for future members.
