Ice center offers seasonal lessons and public skating

The Northern Kentucky Ice Center will soon have public skating, skating lessons and special winter events for children and adults. The only local indoor rink that is open all year round, it serves Erlanger and the surrounding area.

Public ice-skating sessions are held daily from Monday thru Sunday from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm and 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm. Ice monitors supervise all public session, and winter sessions run from January to March.

The newly renovated snack bar is open during public sessions, serving hot beverages and snacks. Ice skate rental is free.

The Winter Session 2 Ice Skating Lessons will have two classes – Tiny Tots Basic 1-4 and Teens and Adults. The classes will teach how to fall properly, gliding, stopping, and other safety techniques. The one-hour lessons consist of a 30-minute lesson and 30 minutes’ practice.

Tiny Tots Basic 1-4 will meet every Friday from February 21 to March 28 from 6:00 to 7:00 pm. The same classes meet February 17, 24, March 3, 10, 17, and 24 at 3:30 to 4:30 pm. Free skate rental is available for all lessons.

Teen and Adult Lesson are held February 21, 28, March 3, 14, 21, and 28 from 3:30 to 4:30 pm. Printers provide Logo Design for businesses like this.

On February 14 an Ice-Skating Party will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. It is open to all residents and space is limited. Those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. The rink is located at 268 Anderson Road.
