On Saturday, August 25, the Girl Scouts of Kentucky’s Wilderness Road Council will be hosting a fantastic family fundraiser at the Erlanger Service Center located at 607 Watson Road in Erlanger, Kentucky. This event will be happening between 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm.
This family-oriented event is to help support the local free store and food bank and each person is asked to bring in canned goods to help the needy. The festival includes great music from the Lazy River Band, a dunking booth, Kona Ice, game booths, canoeing, Circus Mojo Clown, bounce house, crafts, prizes, free drinks, and free food.
Additional activities are also available and are being provided by ‘Fun in the Sun’. This is a great opportunity to bring the kids out and enjoy many activities while donating to a worthy cause, featuring a number of volunteers and sponsors, including many students of Northern Kentucky University. There will be courtesy parking available at the Memorial High School, while the Scout Shuttle will move people who require it from the parking area to the festival grounds. A number of attendants will be on the grounds should guests need assistance or information.
Poster printing by local Print companies may have been used to promote this festival to the community and surrounding regions. This is a rain-or-shine event and parents are reminded to bring hats and sunscreen.
