The people of Erlanger can take a break from writing their Holiday Cards at the annual Holiday Extravaganza. The event will be a mix of holiday cheer and crafting fun right in the heart of northern Kentucky.
The biggest draw of the extravaganza is the horse drawn carriage rides, which will run for the duration of the event. Another prominent feature will be the free arts and crafts area. The crafts will even include mini lessons on knitting, quilting, and crochet, and crafting materials will be provided for free of charge.
Of course, no holiday extravaganza would be complete without the presence of Santa Claus. Santa and his helpers will be available for photos and gift requests. However, no professional photographers will be present, so attendees are encouraged to bring their own cameras.
The event is being jointly sponsored by the Erlanger Parks and Recreation Department and the Erlanger Public Library. The Library has created the goal of connecting the community of Erlanger with events and resources meant to educate and support. The Parks and Recreation Department seeks to help the people Erlanger in being the ‘Friendship City’.
The Erlanger Annual Holiday Extravaganza will be held on December 6 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Erlanger Public Library, located at 401 Kenton Lands. Admission is free of charge. The carriage rides will last the duration, but crafts will only be open from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm or while materials remain available. Santa will be around for pictures from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm.Get a Free Quote for Holiday Cards
