Pop duo For King and Country, will hold a concert close to Erlanger at the BB&T Arena. This performance will be a part of the group’s ‘What Are We Waiting For’ tour.
This duo comprises Australian brothers Joel and Luke Smallbone. After performing with various bands across the country, they formed their own band together. They went by the name Joel and Luke, and then Autoville, before settling on For King and Country.
After signing on with the Warner Music Group, they began writing, recording, and releasing albums and singles to great success. Most of these have debuted within the Top 10 on Billboard’s Christian charts. Several have earned top positions on more general Billboard charts.
The group has also won several Grammy Awards. Their albums “Burn the Ships” and “Run Wild. Live Free. Love Strong.,” as well as their singles “Messengers” and “God Only Knows” have all received this honor. In addition, the single “God Only Knows” reached platinum status, while the singles “Joy” and “Burn the Ships” have reached gold status.
