Gurnee invites Jeep drivers to support a cause
Jeep owners in the Gurnee area will want to ensure an open schedule next month so they can enjoy a unique opportunity to promote a good cause and meet with like-minded individuals.
The 12th Annual Jeep Rally, sponsored by 95 WILL ROCK, is set to kick off. It will allow area Jeep owners to meet and ride to promote suicide awareness and help individuals struggling with mental health in the Gurnee region. The agenda and driving route will be released soon, and interested parties are encouraged to stay tuned for the announcement.
Leah Andersen, 95 WILL ROCK’s cohost, will attend and promote the event by bringing and driving her Jeep to add to the event’s atmosphere. Andersen is planning the ride with the Lake County Suicide Prevention Task Force. Flyer printing is a colorful and memorable way to promote causes and community events like this.
The Lake County Suicide Prevention Task Force is a non-profit organization that promotes suicide awareness and prevention through community outreach events and education. Jeep owners can meet with others to talk about their vehicles and usher in the autumn weather.
Participating Jeep owners will meet in Lot G off West Grand Avenue at 8:00 am on Sunday, September 15. Registration for the suicide prevention ride and rally costs $10 per Jeep, and reservations can be made online.
