Gurnee residents are in for a fun surprise next month when Santa himself plans on coming to town to deliver a breakfast for the community to enjoy.
Breakfast with Santa is getting ready to get underway soon, allowing Gurnee residents the opportunity to enjoy some of their favorite foods with a special guest. The event is being organized by the Gurnee Park District with the aim of bringing the magic of the holiday season to town.
The breakfast foods to be served at the event include breakfast sausages, bacon, eggs, and pancakes, along with other tasty options. The Gurnee Park Board of Commissioners and its staff will be acting as servers at the breakfast. Children who attend will have time to share their wish lists with Santa and get photos. Each child will also receive a special gift to celebrate the holidays. No high chairs will be available at the host venue, and children must be accompanied by an adult. Interested parties who are not registered guests will not be granted entry into the event.
The Viking Park Dance Hall in Gurnee will host the holiday breakfast, with three time slots available. The doors open at 8:00 AM. Registration is free and open online.
