Fundraiser extended in Gurnee
The United Way of Lake County and KeyLime Cove have extended their spring fundraising effort. According to an article in the Daily Herald, participants are allowed to spend time at the Cove's Lost Paradise Indoor Waterpark without having to book a stay in the hotel as well, provided they buy their day pass through this special Community Days offer.
KeyLime Cove is described as a destination resort for families that brings the atmosphere and fun of the Florida Keys to the Chicago area. Visitors stay at the hotel, and for the price of the vacation, they also receive admission to the indoor water park.
Lost Paradise Waterpark is the highlight of the complex, comprising 65,000 square feet of fun for people who love the water, including slides, inner tube rides, a river, and numerous pools. The temperature inside the water park is always 84 degrees, which makes it a wonderful break from frigid Illinois winters.
While lifeguards keep swimmers safe, technicians work behind the scenes to ensure the water used is the cleanest in this type of industry.
The event has now been extended through this Friday June 17, with monies raised going to support the United Way of Lake County, and Gurnee's police and fire departments. There are still tickets left for the event.
For many similar events, brochure printers have produced materials that can describe the event in detail, and provide information on the cause being supported.
