Parents of youth football players who dream of playing at the collegiate level will want to save space in their Calendars next month, as a prime recruiting opportunity is coming to Elk Grove Village.
The Rise & Fire MLK Winter Youth Camp 2025 will begin in mid-January. It will provide a setting for aspiring collegiate football players to display their skills and knowledge of the game. The fourth annual camp will provide training and exposure for quarterbacks, defensive backs, wide receivers, and running backs from around the Midwest.
The quarterbacks are expected to be the event's headliner, and the age groups will range from 4th to 8th grade. All attendees will receive high-level feedback and instructions from accomplished players and coaches at the showcase. Banner printing is a memorable way to welcome athletes who attend such showcases while displaying sponsor logos for increased visibility.
Athletes will not be served lunch, and parents should provide food to their children before arriving at the camp. A pair of Dri-FIT shorts and a compression shirt are recommended for all registered participants. Quarterbacks will need to bring their own football.
The Bo Jackson Dome will host the showcase on Monday, January 20. Registration and warm-ups will start at noon, and the showcase will end at 3:00 PM. Registration is open online and starts at $60 per athlete.
