Themed doll show to attract enthusiasts

Doll fans will be looking forward to the Pullip and Dal Doll Lovers Event (PUDDLE) in June.

PUDDLE is a convention dedicated to fans of Pullip, Taeyang, Dal, Byul, Isul, Yeolume, Namu, and other dolls designed by Ars Gratia Artis and Groove/Jun Planning USA. The theme for this year's event is "Retro Memories: Sweet Sixteen.”

The event kicks off informally on the Friday afternoon and evening with gatherings where participants can visit the nearby Mitsuwa Marketplace for dinner and shopping, followed by meetups at the hotel. These initial gatherings provide a relaxed environment for attendees to meet fellow doll enthusiasts, engage in trading activities, and socialize.

The main activities on the Saturday start at 9:00 am with registration. After that will be the opening ceremonies at 10:00 am. The schedule includes such events as treasure prize draws, contests for custom dolls, social icebreakers, and vendor booths offering new dolls and accessories. Promotional Products can be handed out at such an event.

After the official event concludes around 6:00 pm, participants are invited to a group dinner at the hotel restaurant. The evening continues with a pajama party, allowing for additional trading and socializing before the convention wraps up.

PUDDLE will be held at the Holiday Inn Chicago-Elk Grove in Elk Grove Village on Saturday, June 8. Registration costs $46, with a registration cut-off date of this Saturday, May 25.
