A nature walk is being organized in Elk Grove Village with the goal of raising money to support individuals in the community with disabilities and provide them with the opportunities they deserve.
The 6th Annual Little City Hero Walk, with its goal of helping individuals with disabilities, is set to embark on a stroll through nature for a good cause. The event’s organizers are calling on donors, Elk Grove Village families, and anyone else who’d like to show their support to join the walk.
Each person who attends will do their part in taking steps toward increased equity, opportunity, and inclusivity for individuals with disabilities. Organizers hope to raise $40,000 during this year’s event, with participants getting the joy of supporting a good cause that helps others. Flyer printing is an excellent way to promote such events in the community and raise awareness for increased attendance.
The event is also looking for sponsors, opening the door for local businesses to join the initiative and build a closer relationship with the Elk Grove Village community. Interested parties are encouraged to wear suitable clothing and footwear for the nature walk.
The walk will be led through the Busse Woods Cross Country Course in Elk Grove Village. It is scheduled to start at 10:00 AM on Sunday, September 7th. Registration is free and open online.
