An evening bike ride is being planned for Elk Grove Village residents seeking a new and leisurely experience, with the ride set to start next month.
The 2024 Busse Woods Night Ride is back for its ninth iteration, offering bigger waves of riders and ensuring even more participants can enjoy the riding event. The waves for the 2024 event have been expanded to 40 people. Registered guests can ride bikes through the Forest Preserves of Cook County and experience the Busse Woods Trail after the sun sets.
Guests will ride their bikes under the moonlight before arriving at the party hosted within the Forest Preserves. Bands like FUZE Band will provide live music, and guests can enjoy congregating around the bonfire to meet with other attendees and make new friends and connections. Poster printing is an excellent way to spread word about such events while commemorating participation.
Snacks, s’mores, and tacos from Tacos Los Jarochitos will be available to ensure all guests remain comfortable and happy. Upon registration, attendees will also receive two drink tickets to enjoy beverages from Wine with Me and Pollyanna Brewing and Distilling.
The ride will begin at the Busse Lake Boating Center on Saturday, August 24. Registration will open at 6:30 PM, and the event will conclude at 11:00 PM. Tickets cost $36 per registered adult, and interested parties can make reservations online.
