A Diwali party is being planned for the Elk Grove Village area next month, offering a space for celebrations for area residents.
EIAA’s 3rd Annual Diwali Party is set to begin welcoming guests soon. Guests will have access to food and music to dance to in celebration of the Indian holiday. The event is a family-friendly function, and children are welcome to attend.
The Elmhurst Indian-American Association is organizing and planning the party to promote Indian culture and provide a safe space for interested parties to celebrate it. Guests will have access to light bites, and pizza will be available for children.
A cash bar will also be open to offer refreshments to attendees. Flyer printing is an effective marketing tool to raise awareness and attendance of such events, aiding organizers.
Activities for children will also be available to ensure a fun evening for all guests. The music and food will be followed by a short performance celebrating the Festival of Lights.
The River Forest Country Club will host the Diwali celebration on Saturday, November 9. Guests are welcome at 4:00 PM. Interested parties can reserve a space at the celebrations online, and tickets start at $40.
Diwali is a five-day festival that this year begins next Monday, October 28, with Friday, November 1 being its primary date.
