BWiFF returns to Elk Grove Village

The Blue Whiskey Independent Film Festival (BWiFF) will take place in Elk Grove Village this April.

The event will curate distinctive independent film selections crafted by daring and inventive storytellers. Its programming aims to foster entertainment, education, and meaningful discourse.

The BWiFF prides itself on showcasing character-driven independent theater created by filmmakers helmed by passion rather than major studio backing. The festival, held annually, invites submissions that explore storytelling in fresh and captivating ways.

With more than 30 films representing diverse perspectives from across the globe. The festival will foster a competitive environment where filmmakers vie for awards spanning various genres, production values, performances, and audience appeal. Each selected film will have a dedicated theater screening over eight days, with judges and audiences experiencing them simultaneously.

During the event, film creators are encouraged to engage in live question-and-answer sessions moderated by festival judges. They are also encouraged to share dining experiences with ticket holders, and potentially join panel discussions.

Featured filmmakers whose works are accepted will get two festival tickets each, while accepted music videos and short movie creators will receive a single ticket each. For more detailed information interested individuals can visit the event’s official listing.

Graphic design can be useful in helping filmmakers showcase what they have to offer at events such as this one.

April 14th through 23rd are the event dates. The location will be Classic Cinemas Elk Grove Theatre 1050 Elk Grove Town Center, Elk Grove Village, Illinois.
