Boise theater lovers are invited to take a seat for a performance that will tell the story of how a tiny community went above and beyond in response to the events of 9/11.
Come From Away, which is an award-winning play, relates the story of how 7,000 stranded passengers found respite in Gander, which is a village in the Canadian Province of Newfoundland and Labrador. The audience will hear stories of hope and loss, and how even striking school bus drivers put down their picket Signs and pitched in to provide support.
Tickets for the play are currently available for purchase, and a limit of eight has been put in place. There is an option for groups to reserve up 10, for which a discount is on offer at the time of writing. The venue is accessible to those who require a mobility device, and they may be accompanied by up to three companions who will be offered adjacent seating.
Tickets for the show start at $77 each and there are several options available. Souvenir programs for a play or other performance, as well as poster printing services, can be supplied by a professional printer.
Come From Away will be performed at Boise's Morrison Center for the Performing Arts from September 27 until October 2. The venue’s website provides additional information.
