Run and fun coming to Boise

The Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) is once again getting ready for its Superhero Muscle Walk and 5K Fun Run. It takes place across the nation through a series of local walks, making it the biggest event of its kind in the United States, and Boise is now missing out.

The MDA might have used banner printing, as well as poster printing, to promote this non-competitive event to residents of this community, as well as those located in neighboring areas.

In Boise, this will be an all-inclusive event that includes a one-mile walk and is accessible to families and individuals affected by muscular diseases and other physical disabilities. The walk is a fundraiser for the MDA and proceeds are used for research and to promote vital services to those with neuromuscular disease.

This year’s event features a Superhero 5K walk and fun run along Boise River’s Greenbelt, and has been designed for individuals and teams. Participants are encouraged to visit their closest phone booth, put on their tights, swing into their cape, and come out racing to the finish line. Wheelchair users are welcome.

The registration fee for this event is $30 per person. The event will be happening on Saturday, April 26, starting at 11:00 am at the Boise River Greenbelt located at 4049 Eckert Road in Boise, Idaho. To register online, or to find out additional information, visit the Muscle Walk MDA website or call 208-327-0107.
