Brochure and Stationery printing is sure to have started as the Boise Philharmonic gears up for its new season, with a host of different events planned for fans.
A wine-tasting mixer event will take place for the launch, as the philharmonic celebrates moving to its new venue after renovation.
Guests at the event will hear about the program for its upcoming season and the gala, and the 2014 Picnic and the Pops event will also receive its official launch.
The popular annual event, which is a two-night celebration of family movies and patriotic tunes, takes place at the end of August. Guests are invited to bring a picnic basket and relax to great entertainment at Eagle Island State Park.
Playing a packed program again this year, the 2014-2015 season has been titled, ‘Expect the Unexpected ~ Romantic Journey’. A total of eight concerts will be played across the season in evening performances at the NNU's Brandt Center (in the Swayne Auditorium) and the Morrison Center.
The Philharmonic will also introduce its new members, including Deanna Tham, who will lead local high school students in the youth orchestra.
James Smock will also be introduced to guests on the evening. The associate principal trumpet/trumpet II player comes in in the place of Justin Stamps.
The mixer will be held on July 17 on the penthouse floor of the Owyhee Building at 1109 W. Main St., running from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pmGet a Free Quote for Stamps Get a Free Quote for Stationery
