Natural farming techniques have been used for thousands of years to produce large crops of healthy food. In today's world, many of these may have been forgotten, but a Boise area workshop will seek to change that.
Chris Trump is set to facilitate a five-day program of learning for those who would like to discover how they can use natural methods to achieve high yields of organic produce. The event’s listing noted that the instruction will be a mix of lectures, hands-on activity, and other learning, and the goal is for the course to be as fun as it is educational.
During the five classes, the students will learn about a variety of subjects, ranging from microscopy to plant nutrition, and they will be welcome to ask any questions they might have. Refreshments and lunches are included in the registration price, and the learners will be encouraged to connect and build relationships between one another.
It was explained in the event’s description that even after the course is complete, Trump will be available should the students need further information or support. They will all receive a T-shirt with a unique class Logo Design, as well as a certificate that indicates they completed this introductory training.
This five days of intensive instruction in natural farming will run from August 5 to 10, and it will be offered at Vineyard Boise in Garden City. The fee to participate is $580.
